How to Sync Ordinary eBooks to iBooks Application for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad etc(Apple Gadgets)

Ang Ordinaryong eBooks ay hindi basta basta pwedeng i Sync sa ipad, you need to convert the ebooks into a specific format para mag appear sya mismo sa iBook Application.

Note: Pwede nmang iview ang normal eBooks using any PDF Reader Application pero mas astig padin kapag naka Sync sa iBooks, more Organized and more Cool Looking

Step 1: Download your Free iBooks Application

For New Bought Gadgets, iBooks will prompt you after booting up your Gadget if you want to download and install a free copy of the iBooks App.

Or you can go to App Store, Search for iBooks, then click Install App. (Wifi or 3G Connection and an Account on iTunes is needed to download, if you do not have an iTunes account yet, just register.the iBooks Application Looks like this...

Step 2: Download PC Software named "Calibre"

Calibre is a free and open source ebook management application made by ebook users and enthusiasts for ebooks users and enthusiasts. Calibre allows ebook users to import, edit, manage, and export ebooks plus lots more.

Step 3: Add your ebook to Calibre

Once Calibre has been downloaded and installed properly, launch Calibre and begin adding your non-iBooks ebooks. To add custom ebooks into Calibre click the Add Books button at the top left corner of the Calibre interface or simply drag the desired custom ebook from your file browser into Calibre. Adding books can take up to a few minutes depending on the amount of ebooks added and the size of each ebook.

Step 4: Edit your ebooks for iBooks and the iPad

Para mag mukhang pang iBooks talaga ang eBook mo you need to Edit your eBooks na mag mukhang pang iBooks talaga sya. To Edit your eBooks Follow these steps

• Open Calibre Application
• Choose the eBook you want to edit
• Edit the Title, Author at kung walang Cover Photo lagyan mo, you can use Yahoo Images to look up for a Cover Page type mo lang ang Title sa Search

Step 5: Convert your ebooks to ePub format

Normal eBook formats are .pdf .html .cmw .doc at kung ano ano pa. Pero ang iBook App ang nire-read lang nya ay ePub format. To convert your eBooks into ePub Format follow these steps

• Click the eBook you want to convert
• Click Convert eBooks Icon from the Icons above (3rd Icon from the left)
• Check the Details
• Click Ok

You now have your ePub File eBook. Default Output Folder is located at your Documents Folder (For Windows 7)

Step 6: Add your ePub eBook Files to iTunes

After Locating your ePub eBook Files (check the Properties of the File if its an ePub File already) then follow these steps

• Open iTunes Application from your PC
• Connect your Gadget to your computer (iPhone,iPad etc)
• Wait for your Gadget to finish syncing to iTunes
• Click File > Add to Library (or Press Ctrl + O)
• Browse the location of your ePub eBook File
• Then Go to your Gadget Menu on iTunes
• Under the Books Tab you can find your eBook there
• Click SYNC (Check the Option Sync Books)

Check your iBooks Application on your Gadget and see if the eBook is already there.
